Andrew Smith is an accomplished singer-songwriter, and a captivating tap-style guitarist. He is a seasoned troubadour whose music has taken him all over the world playing folk, jazz and instrumental guitar music. His concerts that are rooted in the folk storytelling tradition - but full of musical surprises.

Andrew is one of the few Canadians to have won the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Competition in the USA with his songs ‘Rite of Passage’ and ‘Holes in the Night Sky’. He has also won the Okanagan Arts Award in the category of music, the Okanagan Instrumental Artist, and the Music Producer of the Year Awards. His music and playing is sought out for many collaborative projects, from movies to classical concerts and dance performances.
