Brother Down
Live in The Vineyard Presents:
Brother Down has a well-earned reputation for their on-stage chemistry, tight arrangements, and crowd-pleasing song selections. They've showcased their talent on stages large and small, from bars, churches, cafés, and festival stages throughout the Okanagan. The band is anchored by the solid rhythm section of drummer Chris Schriek and bassist Robby Mac, and fronted by
the improvisational prowess of guitarist David Schriek and Daniel Young's keyboard wizardry. Brother Down augments their musicianship with three- and four-part harmonies. Their music
covers a wide variety of genres, including rock, funk, R&B, and popular songs spanning the past six decades. The result is a quartet of seasoned professionals with a passion for live music.
Makayla Charleen
Live in the vineyard presents:
Makayla Charleen, a coastal cowgirl with sand in her roots and her boots, embodies an
untameable spirit. This Country singer and songwriter, with her western and honky tonk
storytelling, has the ability to bring her songs to life with her lively vocals and performance.
Makayla’s music will have you two-stepping and swooning over your long-lost cowboy.
She has graced stages of regional and interprovincial festivals, leaving a memorable impression
with her audiences at well-known events such as the Monashee Music Festival in British
Columbia and the Cochrane Classic Bull Riding Event in Alberta. She has opened for renowned
artists including Aaron Pritchett and accompanied Canadian Country artists on tour such as the
Hillside Outlaws. Currently residing in the heart of the Okanagan, Makayla has no shortage of
live music events at local venues for you to attend.
Makayla has nurtured a devoted following on social media. From the early stages of entertaining
the idea of starting a career in music, to sharing her festival experiences with her followers, she
continues to cultivate a growing fan base.
Makayla’s debut single, “Old Fashioned”, is now available on all streaming platforms. Make

Velvet Ears duo performs a moody blend of lounge music from jazz, pop and indie covers. Stacey’s memorable dynamic vocals paired with Peter’s smooth harmonies and infectious live drumming are cued to backing tracks creating a uniquely full musical experience.

Music meets alchemy when artists Bex Troock, Sean Bray, Shamma Sabir and Stefan Bienz come together to create musical gold. Celebrated artists in their own right, Bex, Sean, Shamma and Stefan weave together haunting harmonies, smooth chordal tones, and soulful string sounds against a backdrop of warm bass notes to create a uniquely indie-folk soundscape. Original music from the band’s three singer-songwriters spans the emotional spectrum from deep introspection to undiluted joy. From theatres to festivals to cozy house concerts, Layer Cake Mountain resonates with audiences of all ages.

Rosianarig
Annarose Thomson has been on the stage since she was a young girl. She grew up in a musical household and developed a love for classic country, jazz, blues and rock. Annarose is also a vocal teacher at her RoseColoured Vocals studio, as well as leading her theatrical productions with her Vocal Vixens.
Paolo Rigoni started playing guitar and performing in bands in the 1980's. Annarose and Paolo met in Spring 2023 and started performing in the Okanagan as Roseanarig. Their duo has entertained crowds with classic Rock, Blues, Jazz, Country and Pop covers. With over 70 songs in their repertoire, Roseanarig can create the right show to match their audience. With their Bose L1 Pro32 + Sub2 PA equipment, they can handle everything from a small intimate acoustic show up to a large outdoor event.
Tanya Lipscomb
Live in the Vineyard presents:
Tanya Lipscomb delivers captivating performances from the deepest parts of her heart. Her soulful voice, funky jazzy tunes, interactive performance style and mutli-instrumental loop pedalling round out each show with pizzazz and fervor. She is about to release her 15th album and has toured across the country the last 20 years. She has won multiple songwriting awards and has a couple performance awards under her belt as well. Come take in this sassy genre-hopping, beat-boxing wild ride of musicality.
Lowell Friesen
Live in the Vineyard is proud to present:
A little folk, a little punk, a little country, Post-Country Punk Balladeer Lowell Friesen’s unique interpretation of modern folk music springs from a universe of influences. Raised on country and gospel, growing up with punk and metal, experiments with spoken word and electronic, and aging into trad folk and indie-rock one thing that has remained constant is his love of musical expression. Primarily a singer-songwriter Lowell crafts songs close to the heart, vulnerable and honest, sometimes brazen. A sense of humour always persists. With 6 recording projects under his belt and years of touring experience, Lowell is excited to be back, post covid hiatus with a new 4 song EP (Cup Of Sevens) in hand.
Andrew Smith
Live in the Vineyard is proud to present:
Andrew Smith is an accomplished singer-songwriter, and a captivating tap-style guitarist. He is a seasoned troubadour whose music has taken him all over the world playing folk, jazz and instrumental guitar music. His concerts that are rooted in the folk storytelling tradition - but full of musical surprises.
Andrew is one of the few Canadians to have won the prestigious Kerrville New Folk Songwriting Competition in the USA with his songs ‘Rite of Passage’ and ‘Holes in the Night Sky’. He has also won the Okanagan Arts Award in the category of music, the Okanagan Instrumental Artist, and the Music Producer of the Year Awards. His music and playing is sought out for many collaborative projects, from movies to classical concerts and dance performances.

Originally from Ireland, Jenny is an acoustic singer, songwriter and guitarist based in BC. Playing music and performing is one of her favourite things to do. Rumour Mill is an indie-folk duo headed by multi-instrumentalists, Anna Katarina and Aline Daigle, currently residing in beautiful Nelson, BC.
Imagine the sounds of Fleetwood Mac, Brandi Carlile and First Aid Kit melding with a lush topography of violin, harmonies, keys, guitar and mandolin.

Melissa Livingstone

Melissa Linvingstone is hailing from the quaint little fishing village of Ucluelet, nestled off the coastline of Vancouver Island, in Canada, Melissa Livingstone is the epitome of what small-town country living truly exemplifies. This is where she draws from for inspiration in her songwriting. Her previous upbeat and witty single, Country Enough, went viral on TikTok in 2022, which grew her fan base not only in Canada, but across the United States and Worldwide. Melissa continued the momentum from that song and went on a Canadian Tour last summer that brought her to the stages of three Major Festivals, including Dauphin Country Fest, Sunfest and the Calgary Stampede. Now based in Nashville, TN, Melissa has spent the last year writing and recording and has released another small-town anthem song called “Grew Up On It,” which has already surprised 320,000 combined streams and was added to “Best New Songs” on Apple Music USA under the Country genre. Melissa recently had her first sold out show in Nashville, TN, at the iconic Listening Room Cafe and was also featured by Country Politan Magazine on the Nashville Billboard Sign in Nashville, TN. Melissa is gearing up for another Canadian Summer Tour which will take her back to her roots across BC and Alberta.
Chayce Kennedy

Chayce Kennedy has written over a hundred songs, releasing her fifth single in summer 2023, “Dance Again,” on all major platforms. Having worked with Grammy award-winning producer Brian West (known for his work with Sia, Maroon 5, Andy Grammer, and Nelly Furtado just to name a few) and Juno award-winning producer Ryan Stewart (Carley Rae Jepson, Jocelyn Alice, Carys, and Tyler Shaw), Chayce is using these opportunities to move her musical creativity forward. During the 2022 hot summer months, Chayce performed in front of thousands of concert attendees, performing 16 solo events, and even more with her band. Her fan base continues to grow, through messages of encouragement, engagement, and empowerment. One core belief that Chayce frequently repeats to others is, “your own value is not determined by what others might think of you”. Against the confusing and confounding messages found within the ubiquitous social media machine, the very personal and empowering messages within Chayce’s music will continue to resonate with listeners.

Michaela Bray
Live in the Vineyard is proud to present:
Michaela Bray is a Kelowna-based singer songwriter. She picked up the guitar at age 8, and started writing songs when she realized her diary entries could double as songs, and the time spent being sad and angsty in her childhood bedrooms could probably be used more productively. With a musical upbringing and a background in writing, she weaves folk, country, and alternative music together with pithy metaphors and plays on words. Through her sweet melodies and melancholy, introspective lyrics, she’ll make you feel like working through Big Feelings, too (childhood bedroom not required). Peter Prince

The versatile, intrepid Canadian artist Peter Prince, is based on Salt Spring Island, BC. He has taken his musician’s soul and filmmaker’s eye from the Haida Gwaii to the Himalayas, but his heart is rooted in natural beauty and culture of the Salish Sea. The remarkable breadth of his work includes producing and directing documentary films, composing soundtracks for Film and TV, and creating 7 ALBUMS of original music. His award-winning films have aired on networks in over 60 countries. Down-to-earth stories and honest emotion are standards of his craft as he finds new ways of using media to communicate.
Prince’s music explores themes of love, loss, hope, family and community. ISLAND WAY and PACIFIC DAY are his latest albums of songs. Beachcombing for lyrical inspiration, Peter creates collages of vivid imagery. Pulsing with acoustic-roots expressions, his music moves both body and soul. Jeff Piattelli is a professional Musician out of Kelowna, B.C. He is one of the top guitarists in Canada and has an unforgettable voice that suits any venue.. Jeff creates everything you hear right in front of you; filling out the room with his well known smooth and tasteful guitar playing. While he has released three studio albums; with influences from the likes of John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton, Jeff remains a performer through and through. Two Crows for Comfort: Filled with rich harmonies, genuine, heart warming (and breaking) lyrics, the MCMA 2021 Roots Artist of the Year, Two Crows for Comfort spins stories into songs and songs into stories. Accompanied by their pup, Elliot, the duo now lives on the road full-time making stops throughout Canada and the US. Their latest album, ‘Show Me Light’ is available in physical form and on all streaming platforms.

Live in the Vineyard is proud to present:
L∞PS with a commanding stage presence, their LIVE performances are known for being both memorable and captivating for the audience. In addition to performing their own tracks, their unique and original takes on cover songs that include creative mashups of classics, always entertain the crowd! The duo perform an acoustic guitar and piano based style with loop pedals incorporated into their sets, and can be best described as if Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi were to have a musical baby, it would be L∞PS. The pair have a library of literally hundreds of covers they perform from the 1960s to current top 40 hits. Because of their unique and versatile style, they have performed anything from small venues with intimate settings, to high energy large scale shows.
Jon's Jamboree
Live in the Vineyard is proud to present:
Jonathan Williams is a professional singer/songwriter and performer out of Vernon, BC. Jonathan has an extensive live performance history opening for big acts including Kim Mitchell, Colin James, 54-40, Spirit of the West and Trooper to name a few.
Jonathan's own music has received global attention and international radio play. His most successful song "signs" made it to the Top 20 in the Canadian Independent Country Countdown. Jonathan performs with his 4-piece band as well as a solo acoustic act playing a wide variety of popular adult contemporary, pop, country music as well as his own.
